Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week welcomes Jarrad Clark — the biggest global fashion show producer on the international scene — who arrived in Fiji yesterday.

This being his first visit back since he was a toddler, it was indeed an emotional return for the True Blue-Aussie Creative Producer and Fashion Event Guru. Jarrad — thanks to Fiji Airways — was whisked out of LA from New York where he currently resides.

While in Fiji, Jarrad will be staying at the luxurious Grand Pacific Hotel that hosted a lavish welcome cocktail party for the global fashion producer.

The event, an “invite only” occasion, was a success with a special welcome ceremony by the Dulali Sevusevu Group, as well as a special presentation by the First Nations People.

Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week is extremely grateful to Jarrad for his participation and support and hopes that many will take advantage of his workshop on June 5 on event management and how to produce a successful global fashion show.

The workshop will be held at the Matua Room No. 1 at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva from 4pm to 6pm.

The Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week team has a whole day of workshops lined up from various visiting specialists today on fashion sustainability with Clare Press, photography with Sonny Vandeveid and Iker Aldama, effective journalism with Briony Wright and Patty Huntington, the future of fashion with Nicholas Huxley, Patty Huntington and Jarrad Clark and the life of a designer with none other than Danial Avakian.
